New Database
This function is not available in WinPATS™ Base Edition. For the Base edition please select Open Database.
- Click [File] > [New Database].
- Select a location for your new file. WinPATS should select the public documents folder by default, if it does not then it is recommended this folder is selected. Operating system such as Windows Vista & 7 may require you to save your databases in the document folder. Any other folder may be blocked from saving.
- Enter a name for the new database in File name: Click [Open]
- Choose from the drop down box the user that is going to log in. There is only the admin user at the moment to just click Ok. To learn more about users click here.
- Select if you would like to use passwords for this database. If you choose yes you will be asked to enter a new password on next login for this database. For more details on passwords click here.
