Change Barcode Digits

If your database is using a barcode system with leading zeros you can change the number of digits or the length of the barcode. This function modifies all barcodes in the equipment inventory. Current number of digits are shown in the top box and the new value is placed in the box below. This value can be higher or lower than the current digits value.

Warning The barcode is a reference number to the item. If you change the barcode in the software it won't recognise the barcode when you scan it.

Be careful when adjusting the number of barcodes. Do not adjust beyond the leading zeros or it will remove barcode values.
